How to fix "This code is no longer valid" Error on iPhone

Solution

1. Check your Internet connection

Before installing or activating your eSIM, ensure your device is connected to a stable Wi-Fi or mobile data network. An active Internet connection is required for your iPhone to download, verify, and activate the eSIM profile.


2. The eSIM may already be installed

In many cases, the eSIM has already been installed automatically after scanning the QR code. To confirm, please check the following settings:

  1. Open Settings
  2. Tap Cellular (or Mobile Data in some regions)
  3. Tap Cellular Data at the top and select the eSIM plan on the next screen → This ensures your device uses the eSIM for mobile data.
  4. Go back to Cellular, scroll down, and tap the eSIM plan (it may appear as Personal, Travel, or Secondary)
  5. Ensure Turn On This Line is ON
  6. Ensure Data Roaming is ON

If you see your esimNB eSIM listed and the settings above are correctly enabled, the eSIM is already active. It will automatically connect to the network once you arrive at your destination—no further action is required.
