Solution: Unable to Find a Signal After Installing eSIM
After successfully installing your eSIM, your device may fail to connect to a network. You may notice one or more of the following symptoms:
- No signal bars
- Phone stuck on “Searching…”
- Signal indicator shows “No connection”
The most common reason for this issue is that your device is not currently inside the eSIM’s service region. For example:
- An Italy eSIM will only connect in Italy
- A USA eSIM will only connect in the USA
- A Japan eSIM will only connect in Japan …and so on.
Not in the Service Area?
If you installed an eSIM for your travel destination but you have not yet arrived, your device will not display any signal until you enter that region. This is normal and expected behavior—there is no issue with your eSIM.
